    If your answer depends on PDFs, ticketing systems, CRM notes, and product docs, LangChain gives you one place to compose retrievers and prompt logic. That matters when the answer is generated from several sources rather than returned directly.

Then put LangChain on top only where language matters: support copilots, internal analyst assistants, document Q&A over policies or contracts. In fintech production systems, Elasticsearch is the foundation; LangChain is the interface layer when you actually need an LLM to talk back.
